Over the past few weeks, the Port of Palm Beach Seafarers Center has been busy delivering holiday gifts to crew members aboard vessels calling on our port. These efforts help bring comfort and appreciation to seafarers who are far from home during the holiday season.
Many of the gift bags were made possible through donations from our annual Seafarers Care Package Drive, along with generous support from Bethesda by the Sea. The thoughtfully prepared packages were distributed to international vessel crews as well as to two U.S. Coast Guard vessels that were in port during Christmas week while fueling for their patrols off Mar-a-Lago.
For crew members spending the holidays at sea, these small gestures go a long way. The gifts serve as a reminder that their hard work and sacrifices are recognized and appreciated as they continue to keep vital goods moving through our region and beyond.
The Port of Palm Beach is proud to support the Seafarers Center and to play a role in sharing gratitude and goodwill with the men and women who serve at sea.
