We want to give a big shout out to Oscar Garcia, who works at the Port, and Port Security Officer Dunstan Rainford for facilitating a safe rescue of a woman who was stuck in the water in one of the slips. The rescue happened around 1:30 AM.
Oscar and Dunstan used a rope to pull the woman out of the water. Security Manager Rick Placeres also responded to the scene. He reported the rescue to Riviera Beach Fire Rescue and submitted a report to the National Response Center as required by federal regulation.
