Port of Palm Beach Commissioners awarded G4S Port Site Manager Major Samuel Berry with a certificate of recognition at Thursday's board meeting.
Major Berry has provided the Port of Palm Beach District outstanding contract leadership and security services for the last five years. Major Berry’s level of operational excellence and investigative skill utilizing CCTV video surveillance system has saved the Port District, Palm Beach Parking and cruise operations thousands of dollars in false claims. Major Berry also plays a crucial roll in complying with the Maritime Transportation Security Act.
Major Berry graduated from Glades Central High School and continued his education at Lynn University. Prior to coming to the Port, Mr. Berry worked in corrections for 10 years.
