The Port of Palm Beach continues to enhance the cruise experience with the addition of a second baggage drop-off area for passengers sailing from the port. This new feature is designed to streamline the embarkation process, reduce wait times, and make the start of every voyage as smooth and stress-free as possible.

By offering an additional drop-off location, cruise guests can now enjoy greater flexibility and efficiency when arriving at the terminal. The improvement helps ease traffic flow and ensures a quicker transition from arrival to check-in, so passengers can focus on enjoying their journey from the moment they arrive.

This enhancement is part of the Port’s ongoing commitment to delivering a best-in-class passenger experience. With continued investments in convenience and customer service, the Port of Palm Beach is proud to be one of the smoothest and most accessible ports to sail from in South Florida.

Tallahassee, Fla. — The Florida Ports Council has selected LSN Partners to provide government relations, strategic communications, and event management services supporting Florida’s seaport system and the maritime industry across the state.

As part of the engagement, LSN Partners will partner with Lisa Miller & Associates, which will provide state government relations services, and Press On Communications, which will lead communications strategy and industry messaging.

Together, the team will support the Council’s advocacy initiatives, communications efforts, and industry events while advancing policies that strengthen Florida’s seaports and support the state’s economy.

“Florida’s seaports are critical infrastructure for our state and for the national supply chain,” said Michael Meekins, Chairman of the Florida Ports Council and Executive Director of the Port of Palm Beach. “They serve as powerful economic engines that keep goods moving, create jobs, and connect our state to the global economy.”

Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, participants also learn how the Port of Palm Beach supports our local community and drives global trade.

Eligible applicants must be Palm Beach County resident, have graduated from a Palm Beach County high school, or currently enrolled in a trade school, college, or university located in Palm Beach County. Space is limited, and required materials must be submitted by April 19, 2026. 

The Port of Palm Beach Summer Internship Program is an award-winning initiative recognized by the American Association of Port Authorities for excellence in administrative practices.
