The Port of Palm Beach in partnership with the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) – the unified and recognized voice of seaports in the Americas - and its entire hemispheric membership commemorated Western Hemisphere Ports Day on April 5. The annual event recognized the port industry’s role in efficient goods movement, job creation and propelling the economy in nations they serve across the Americas and other continents. This year’s Ports Day theme, Celebrating Our Workforce, honored the skill, professionalism, and commitment of the port industry workforce – thousands of people who ensure that cargo and passengers move efficiently through our ports every day.
Several Port tenants provided the Port of Palm Beach with photos of employees that were shared throughout the week on social media to educate the public on the industry's workforce.
