On Thursday, July 21, 2016, the Port of Palm Beach Board of Commissioners and staff broke ground on the port’s latest infrastructure enhancement project, the construction of a mini-slip at its southernmost berth.The project will add/replace 376 feet of seawall and accommodate vessels up to 300 feet in length. On July 11th and 13th, 2016, the Port of Palm Beach hosted approximately 90 local high school students as part of the Riviera Beach Junior Peacekeepers, a Riviera Beach Police Department program. During their visit, students learned about the port, jobs at the port and local law enforcement organizations and programs.
