Port staff works to secure COVID-19 vaccine for qualified essential workers

Duke Monarch vessel

Port of Palm Beach staff has spent the last month trying to help essential workers 65 and older, secure a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Last week, the Florida Department of Health responded to the Port's inquiries and has begun scheduling COVID-vaccine appointments for those who are associated with the Port and meet the qualifying age. Several workers received their first shot over the weekend. Remember these workers, along with hundreds of others who are under 65, have worked throughout the pandemic to ensure that cargo continues to flow through the Port of Palm Beach.
